When I first began physical therapy for my severe arthritis and hip pain, I thought my life as an active person was a thing of the past. My pain was quickly becoming worse, to the point where I could barely sleep. I felt truly desperate as my doctors began suggesting injections, hip surgery, and even narcotics. Fortunately, I found Functional Manual Therapy\u00ae and began treatments with the IPA Physio team. After just one session, my pain levels dramatically improved! Over the last 18 months of treatments (intense initially but since decreased to once a month), my pain level has dwindled to a small fraction of what it was. My range of motion and my quality of life have both drastically improved, and I\u2019m back to walking a few hours at a time \u2014 and planning for a major hike!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My experience with Dr. Grohovsky felt like my experience with a miracle. When I first started seeing him in January of 2014, I felt like my life as an active person was a thing of the past because of my severe arthritis. My symptoms were becoming worse very quickly, leaving me feeling increasingly \u2018crooked.\u2019 My pain was so significant, it actually began interfering with my sleep.
