Insurance benefits vary, but you may be responsible for the entire cost of treatment. You are allowed to come directly to physical therapy without having to consult another medical provider. Some insurance companies may require a referral for reimbursement. We also enjoy working in conjunction with other medical providers, so we may ask you to get a consultation with another medical provider if we believe the referral is warranted or would improve the quality of care you are receiving.
